02-01-2012 Plaza Blanca (The White Place)

Finally it was not a bad day, have been waiting for over a month for a nice day. Drove up to Plaza Blanca for a photo hike. Weather was nice no jacket required, although I did have a long sleeve shirt. Had a great day in Northern New Mexico. Not a very interesting sky, had high thin clouds, not our typical Blue Blue sky. But all in all a nice day, that allowed me to get out and about. I was starting to get a little crazy having to stay inside because of the cold and snow.

This is the route that I took starting and ending at # 1The buildings at the lower left are  Dar al-Islam Mosque. It is an Islamic Mosque here in Northern New Mexico very beautiful will have to go back and get permission to take photos. The movie Cowboys & Aliens had parts of the movie filmed here.
