10-02-13 Quemazon Trail, Quemazon Nature Trail and Satch Cowan Loop
10-02-13 Quemazon Trail, Quemazon Nature Trail and Satch Cowan Loop
This was another gentle walk sponsored by PEEC. It was a little more than a gentle walk not very flat, gained a good deal of altitude. Was a good day for a hike and it was enjoyable.

09-04-2013 Water Canyon
09-04-13 Water Canyon Hike
This was a hike sponsored by PEEC.
This is the first time I've been on this trail since the fire. The canyon was close after the fire because of flooding. The trail had to be re done and re routed. No much of the original trail was used, you can still see it in a few places.
It was nice to get out and do some hiking.
These pictures are what was left at the old sawmill dam site. The rest of the group had turned back towards the trail head, I hiked about 2 blocks more before getting to it. In some of the pictures the old concrete spill way can be seen at the back of the pictures.
Headed back to the trail head and rest of the group.
As promised to the hiking group all the pictures below were taken in April 2010 prior to the fire and the major flooding that occurred after the fire. I like it much better this way, the trail was actually the water path.
