April 1, 2011 - A nice afternoon outing with Shirley.

This is one of the roads that was used by farmers and homesteaders, that came to Los Alamos in the summer to grow their crops. This was before there was a Los Alamos. The grooves that are worn into the rock were made by wagon wheels down into the rocks. There must have been tough people back then and even tougher animals to pull the wagons over that stuff.

Did not see any snow so summer must be around the corner.

The first picture shows our route with spot.
