Took a drive into the Jemez Mountains.
These pictures were taken on Forest Road 376 between La Cueva and Gilman. There was a controlled burn taking place to the west of the road. IThe burn was near Cuba, NM which is about 25 miles west. The smoke looks really bad. Could see it all the way home to Los Alamos. Lots of small meadows. Plenty of camping areas, numerous camping trailers and motor homes were scattered along the way. The fishing must be great. Will be back here to take some more photographs. Going north from State Road 4, on 376 there is a hot spring that begs to be photographed.
